Ms. Noelle MartellChrist Preeminent in all things
Lenawee Christian School teaches students that the Lord Jesus Christ is to be preeminent in every area of their lives, including their education. We recognize that all aspects of study, whether academic or any other school activity, is based upon this biblical truth. "For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth..all things were created by him and for him...he is before all things, and in him all things hold together...so that in everything he might have supremacy" (Colossians 1:16-18). The center of all of life is to be the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Relationship of the Creator to His Creation
According to our Statement of Faith…We firmly believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:15) There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 10:30) The deity of Jesus Christ means: born of a virgin (Luke 1:35), lived a sinless life (Hebrews 4:15), was crucified, died and was buried (Ephesians 1:7), rose from the dead (John 11:25), ascended to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), will return in power and glory (Revelation 19:11). Holy Spirit: regeneration at salvation (John 3:16-19) and indwelling that enables believers to live a godly life (Romans 8:13, 14). We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those that are saved unto the resurrection of life and those that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:28-29)

All Truth is God's Truth: Biblical Integration
“While most of the world divides truth between sacred and secular, Christian education acknowledges that God's truth is of universal scope. The Christian world view is that God has revealed Himself through both natural and written revelation. In Christian education, all subjects are taught as part of the total truth of God. Thus Christian education is the process of seeing things through the perspective of God's Word. We encourage our students to become all that they were created by God to be - in mind, in body, in spirit - for the glory of God. An education that includes the spiritual nature must be provided so that a child will be fully developed. Only then will the child know the true purpose of living. “ (WCGS)

Partnership between School and Home
Lenawee Christian School embraces the Bible's teaching that God has given the family the responsibility of educating or "bringing up" children in the Lord. (Prov. 3:5,6) Parents have the primary responsibility to teach their children the Word of God. (Deuteronomy 11:19). The goals and expectations of the home and the school need to be in harmony with one another. The unified partnership between parents and teachers is essential to a growing and meaningful educational experience for students.

Commitment to Excellence in all of life
Lenawee Christian School is committed to Christ-centered education and the teaching of God's total truth, whether it is found in the arts, sciences, humanities, or philosophy. We are committed to providing a quality program of academics and co-curricular opportunities for as many students as possible. Our students are challenged individually to excel in every area of learning. It is our desire that we honor and glorify Jesus Christ in all of our pursuits. It is our hope that our students live life as Christ-followers, proclaim Him boldly and articulately, and recognize and use their strengths as members of the Body of Christ.
