People and their God given gifts and talents are our central resource at Lenawee Christian School. Without them there is no school or ministry. We have been blessed with over 50 full and part-time educators and administrators that have been called to this ministry.
Our school is one of a select few nationwide that are dually accredited by both the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the secular advanCED (formerly the North Central Association). This insures that as a school we meet the standards for delivering a high quality education that is rigorous and relevant. 90% of our teachers have degrees in the disciplines they teach. Over 50% of our teachers hold Master's Degrees. We take the credentials and gifts of our teachers very seriously. Each year we invest in their continuing education in order to strive towards being a Professional Learning Community (PLC).
Our teachers and administrators choose to be at LCS. Each of them could make more money and have better benefits teaching in a public school, but they feel God's call on them to teach from a true Biblical perspective. This is an important distinctive that drives our school and our ministry. It underlines how much our faculty and administration care about our students.
