Lenawee Christian Ministries Announces Dr. Kristy Taylor as New Executive Director
Adrian, MI — Lenawee Christian Ministries (LCM) is pleased to announce that Dr. Kristy Taylor has been selected to serve as the organization’s next Executive Director, following a comprehensive national search conducted over the past several months. In this role, Dr. Taylor will oversee the day-to-day leadership of Lenawee Christian School and The Christian Family Centre.
The search process included multiple rounds of interviews, candidate evaluations, and on-site visits. Throughout the process, Dr. Taylor consistently demonstrated a rare combination of spiritual maturity, relational strength, and organizational leadership, qualities the Board identified as essential for this season of ministry.
“Dr. Taylor is a Christ-centered leader who brings both experience and heart to our community,” said Dr. Robert Pepper, Chair of the LCM Board of Directors. “Her background in educational leadership, her proven ability to build and support strong teams, and her commitment to the mission of LCM made her stand out at every step.”
Dr. Taylor joined Lenawee Christian School in early 2025 as Secondary Principal. In her short time at LCS, she has become a trusted leader to staff and families alike. Her 25-plus years of experience include serving as a principal, assistant superintendent, district-level administrator, and vice president within a national training organization. She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, an MBA, and extensive experience with strategic planning, curriculum development, school improvement, capital projects, and community engagement.
As she transitions into her role as Executive Director, Dr. Taylor has already begun laying out the groundwork for several initiatives that will support clarity, communication, and ministry alignment across LCM. These early efforts include an upcoming leadership retreat for the internal leadership team, a State of the Ministry gathering for all LCM, LCS, and Centre employees, greeting families at the December 16th Christmas Concert where parents can meet her personally, and she will be setting aside time monthly to be open to the community in the Centre Café.
Reflecting on the new role, Dr. Taylor shared:
“I am grateful for the trust placed in me and deeply humbled by this opportunity. LCM is a ministry with strong roots and incredible potential, and I’m excited to help guide our next chapter. In every decision we make, I want us to keep our focus on Christ and on the people, He has called us to serve. Together, I believe we can continue building a place where students thrive, families feel supported, and our community experiences God’s love in meaningful ways.”
To support continuity and stability for our students and staff, Dr. Taylor will continue her leadership within the school throughout the remainder of this school year. She will do this while also stepping into her new role as Executive Director of Lenawee Christian Ministries.
Lenawee Christian Ministries extends its appreciation to the Board of Directors, the search committee, and the LCM community for their prayers and support throughout this process. LCM looks forward to the season ahead with confidence, gratitude, and a renewed sense of purpose.
