At Lenawee Christian School, we believe that education is a partnership between our school and our families. Through financial aid, LCS provides tuition assistance to help make a Christ-centered education more accessible to families 

Serve2Save brings our families together through opportunities to serve, connect, and support the LCS community. Participation in Serve2Save part of the tuition assistance agreement and gives families a meaningful way to serve, connect, and contribute to the LCS community. 

Service Expectations

Families receiving financial assistance (meaning families who do not pay the full tuition rate) are expected to complete: 

  • 20 hours per year for families with one child 

  • 40 hours per year for families with multiple children  

All required hours must be completed by June 30, 2027. Failure to meet the required hours may impact eligibility for continued financial assistance, as outlined in the financial aid agreement. 

How Can I Serve?

Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year, including: 

  • School events and programs 

  • Athletics and extracurricular activities  

  • Classroom support  

  • Fundraising  

  • Campus projects

Who Can Serve?

Approved parents, guardians, and family members may serve on behalf of a family receiving financial assistance. Volunteers must have an approved background check on file before serving and receive approval from the Serve2Save Coordinator.  

How Are Hours Recorded?

You do not need to track or report your own hours. The Event Lead will sign you in and out at each volunteer opportunity, and the Serve2Save Coordinator will record your verified hours. Families may keep their own record for reference, but Serve2Save Coordinator records are the official record of hours served.  

Families will receive quarterly updates showing hours completed and hours remaining.
