Scholarships

At LCS, we are committed to providing opportunities for students to pursue their academic goals regardless of financial circumstances. Explore the scholarships available and learn how to apply below.

How to Apply

For Current Students: Applications and supporting documentation must be received by April 1st.
The LCS scholarship committee will review all applications and awards will be distributed by April 15th.

For New Students: Scholarship Applications must be submitted within 30 days of acceptance.

  • Complete a FACTS application.

  • Submit the following in a single email to rmannor@lenawee.org:

    • Academic Record from Prior School if you are a new student.

    • GPA & Academic Record will be utilized for all applicants as part of the decision process.

    • A Pastoral or Spiritual recommendation letter that highlights:

      • Church attendance and participation

      • Examples of dedication and a passion for Christ

      • Anything that would exemplify the student as a commendable candidate.

      • A recommendation letter is valid for three academic years. If you have provided one within this time frame, please state so in your email.

    • Three character references (Examples: Teacher, Coach, Friend, Employer, Etc).

      • Include phone number and an email address.

      • Your Pastor can not be one of these three references; however, a member of the church may be.

    • A letter from parent and/or guardian further explaining the significance of LCS in their lives.

    • An essay written by the student explaining:

      • Why do you want to come, or stay, at LCS?

      • How will you contribute to the student body?

      • How will this scholarship money help you and others?

      • If the student is in grades PreK through 3rd grade, the parent may help with the essay on their behalf.

Referral Program

Do you know a family who would be a great addition to LCS? Share your love of LCS with them and if they enroll and mention your name, you will receive a bonus of $500 off your tuition! The applicant must name the person who referred them to get the tuition credit. LCS offers other discounts such as Family-size for 3+ students, Clergy, and Alumni.
