Centre Cafe Manager
Position: Café Manager
Classification: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt
Reports To: Director of Food Service

Lenawee Christian Ministries provides a Christ-centered education, spiritual development, and wellness services to the Lenawee County community, centered around Jesus Christ.
Position Summary:
As a Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Cafe. Your primary objective is to ensure the smooth functioning of the establishment, provide excellent customer service, and drive profitability. You will lead a team of employees, coordinate various scheduling, and maintain high standards in all areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Manage all aspects of the cafe's operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation standards, and licensing requirements.
Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to optimize productivity and customer service.
Staff Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, and supervise cafe staff, including corner park concessions staff.
Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
Customer Service and Sales:
Foster a customer-centric environment and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive customer experience.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
Implement strategies to increase sales, such as suggestive selling, promotions, and weekly specials.
Portion and Quality Control:
Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and portion control to maintain high standards.
Seek customer feedback and suggest changes to the menu and offerings based on customer preferences and trends.
Qualifications:
Christian Faith:
Profess and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Adherence to Christian principles and values in both personal and professional life.
Educational Background/Experience:
Proven experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a cafe setting.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team and foster a positive work environment.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ
